3 Beautiful Places to Visit Out West

Travelling out west since I was little has been an incredible blessing. I have seen so many of God’s beautiful creations, and they have all inspired me so much. Here are 3 of my favorite places to visit out west that you need to visit on your next trip!

Goosenecks State Park (Colorado)

This place is stunning. Park alongside the edge (not too close) for a gorgeous dry-camping experience. There’s no light pollution at night, so it’s perfect for stargazing! The sunrise over these canyons is nothing short of fiery, and definitely worth waking up early for.

Becker Butte Lookout (Arizona)

Never heard of this? Yeah, I hadn’t either before we visited. But the rugged landscapes here are not something you want to miss out on! Next time you’re travelling through AZ, be sure to take this scenic route.

Death Valley (California)

Okay, this one is not for the faint of heart (as the name may imply). We went in the dead of summer, and it was a cool 121 degrees Fahrenheit (49C). But, it was absolutely gorgeous, and kind of a fun experience to be in nature’s oven. (Especially when the RV air conditioner stops working). Seriously though, be prepared with lots of water. It’s so hot and dry that your sweat evaporates before you even realize that you’re overheating!
